Student Sign In
Sign your child in at the front desk when you arrive at the gym whether you stay and observe or you drop off your child.
Registration
The annual registration fee of $35.00 is due for new and returning students each year from the original sign-up date.
Tuition
You are required to pay tuition in full in order to reserve a spot in class. Tuition is due before the start of each session. You may register and pay for your child’s class up to one month before the start of the upcoming session. There is no guarantee there will be a spot reserved for your child if you have not paid tuition by the start of the new session. There are no refunds for tuition or registration. We accept cash, check, Visa/MC, and Discover.
Check Policy
Please make checks payable to Brooklyn Gymnastics & Cheer. There is a $25.00 charge for any check returned for non-payment.
Sessions
There are 5 sessions during the 2007-2008 school year. The sessions run back to back, and the classes are designed to continually progress throughout the year. New classes are added for new students as needed. It is important that you communicate with the front desk if you won’t be attending the next session, or if you wish to move to another class, as some students may be on a wait list to get into that class.
Make-Up Policy/Attendance
Please notify the office when you are unable to attend your regular class. You are allowed to do one make-up class per session. If your child is sick and may be contagious, please do not bring him or her to class. We will do our best to fit you in a similar class for your make-up. In order to keep small class size, it is best to attend your regularly scheduled class.
Snow day make up: if The Oregon School District is closed for SNOW or sends students home early, we will not have classes that day. There will be scheduled make-ups on Saturdays at the end of the session. We will post these dates and times on the cork board.
Uniform
Girls: Brooklyn Gymnastics & Cheer t-shirt w/black shorts or moveable, tight fitting pants, or a Leotard. Boys: Brooklyn Gymnastics & Cheer t-shirt w/black shorts or moveable, tight fitting pants. Longer hair must be tied back. No socks and no footed tights. No jewelry or watches. Do not wear baggy clothing for safety reasons.
Observing
Children must wait in the waiting area until their coach calls them into class. Parents and siblings are welcome to watch class from the viewing area. Gymnastics requires total concentration. Parents are not allowed to coach or yell out to their child during the class. This behavior disrupts the entire class, and is unfair to students and coaches. Siblings who are waiting with parents must be supervised at all times. Anyone watching may not go onto an open gym floor during class.
ATTENTION PARENTS: READ THE CORKBOARD FOR IMPORTANT NOTICES, UPCOMING EVENTS, AND MAKEUPS
